Mr. Nikunj Mehta, a renowned artist and expert in Bhavai, visited our school to conduct a workshop on this traditional Gujarat folk art form. Mr. Mehta commenced the workshop by providing an insightful introduction to the history and significance of Bhavai. He highlighted the fusion of mythology, folklore, and social commentary that piqued the audience’s interest from the onset. Students actively participated in practical sessions, learning basic bhavai movements, gestures, and expressions under Mr. Mehta’s expert guidance. His patience and expertise encouraged students to embrace the nuances of this art form, fostering creativity and cultural appreciation. The students performed in SKV, Gwalior, and bagged 2^nd place in Bhavai Dance.
