Children’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by observing ‘Balmela’. The track field was resplendent with 21 food and gaming stalls which were given an aesthetic and welcoming look by the teachers. Principal Ms Mehrotra opened the mela venue by the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon and the release of balloons.
The excitement had been palpable in the campus ever since the girls had returned from the Diwali break, since the fair was happening after the hiatus of a year. From the popular momo, chaat, tuck and mocktail stalls to the fun rides, curios at the art and craft stalls to the music and discotheque the girls had a hard time choosing where to go. Everyone had a field day posing for photographs and enjoying a leisurely day in the warm sun.
