On 2nd April, the new session 2022-23 commenced with a Welcome assembly. Ma’am Principal welcomed the new students with the old ones and briefed them about life at VDJS, followed by the orientation of students on the Activities programme. Students learned about the various hobbies on offer and cleared their queries about hobbies and the life skills affiliated with them.

Middle School Coordinator, Ms Bosky Soperna, oriented the Middle School students on the academics programme. The little ones had fun moments while dabbling with watercolours in Art Department.

The orientation of Classes VIII, IX, X, and XII by the Dean of Academics, Ms. Bhagwanti Gupta, and the Senior School Coordinator, Ms. Sunita Verma, acquainted the girls with the new daily schedule, the grading system, and the subjects taught in the institution.

Following that was the NCC orientation by the I/C Ms Vijay Luxmi and the familiarisation of the girls with the pastoral care of the school by Student Well Being I/C Ms Neelam Rai.

The sports department and the School Wellness team oriented the students about the rich sports programme and the role of the Wellness center in keeping the students fit, healthy, and happy.  

By the end of the orientation, the students, armed with information and knowledge about the practices of the school, felt confident and ready to face the new session with enthusiasm and zeal.
