Dining Hall is the amalgamation of VDJS culture, ethos and vision of Late Sh. O.P.Jindal ji. It provides girls and staff with the three main meals of the day, as well as morning and evening break snacks. It has a sitting capacity of more than 900 people at a time.
Professionally qualified Mess Managers run the operations along with trained chefs who prepare nutritious food in hygienic kitchen. With an in-house bakery a variety of breads provide a wholesome snack. A comprehensive and balanced weekly menu is designed in consultation with dietician. The menu includes vegetarian options from across the country and also Continental and other cuisines.
Mess committee comprises of Student Representatives, Mess Prefects, Teacher Representatives and Mess Manager. A Mess Committee Meeting is held quarterly.
