From 10th -13th August, Har Ghar Tiranga program was celebrated at VDJS under the guidelines issued by the Indian Government. Jindalites made flags, posters and composed slogans to mark the 75th year of India’s independence. Some children also recited and sang patriotic poems and songs and narrated stories to salute the sacrifices made by the great freedom fighters for India. The school staff, Mr Abhijit, briefed the NCC Cadets about the history of the Tricolour Flag. Cadets, Anushka and Lakshika, recited patriotic poetry and filled the hearts of other cadets with energy and gratitude for the nation builders. Finally, the tricolour flags were distributed by the NCC cadets to the four Houses, and unfurled on the house-building to mark the enthusiasm, solidarity of the VDJS community in the celebration of ‘Aazadi Ka Mahotsav’ .
