In order to provide our community with the incessant flow of knowledge coming from various parts of the world, in their process of growth and evolution, we promote Teacher Exchange Programmes under our long and enriching association with British Council and Round Square.
VDJS has been a proud host for teachers with unique teaching strategies, that promotes effective learning experiences among the children. We always look forward to constructive and creational rendezvous between teachers from varied cultures, beliefs, and educational systems for our young aspirants. We offer an open platform to the teachers to share their expertise in scholastic and co-scholastic fields with not only students but also our teaching staff in a conducive environment.
The Teacher Exchange Programmes serve as a cultural learning experience for distinguished teachers. It offers a golden opportunity to the guest educator to study and observe best international practices in education and to develop leadership skills and understanding of educational policy. Such programmes enhance their ability to work in diverse and multicultural environments. Along with a comfortable stay, the guest teacher also gets the chance of sightseeing excursion of the beautiful and culturally rich city, Hisar.
The initiative is intended for improvisation of the teaching methodology and hence it is a residential programme for the teachers, with free boarding and lodging, and no other expenses except the visa costs and personal overhead expenses which are borne by the applicant.
The duration of the exchange programme may vary from a week to six months and sometimes even for the whole academic session, depending on the credentials of the applicant.
Interested applicants will be considered on their merit with preference being given to teachers who:
A. Yes. You should ideally be arriving at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, India
A. 170kms. It takes approximately 3 hours to cover this distance.
A. Vegetarian
A. Yes. The school has a wellness centre headed by the resident medical officer. Round the clock nurse is available in the Wellness Centre. The centre also has a Physiotherapist.
A. The teacher should get in touch with the resident medical officer and share her medical history.
A. The school will provide an invite for an exchange programme on the letter head of the Head of the Institution.
A. We have air-conditioned rooms for the staff. Classrooms and all departments are also air-conditioned.
A. Yes. All staff accommodations have washroom attached with the room.
A. Entire Campus is Wi-Fi enabled. You may connect with your home country via email, WhatsApp call, Skype, FaceTime.
A. Yes. There will be a teacher escorting you for all your outside school visits, until you choose to travel alone.
A. A buddy teacher will be there to make you comfortable at all times.
