A series of yoga classes starting from the 12th of June culminating in a quiz on 21st June, International Yoga Day was conducted in school by the Yoga Instructor Ms Vijayluxmi. A 45 minute session was dedicated to each class on a given day. Starting with a warm up session she moved on to basic asanans aimed at helping the students have better strength, balance, flexibility along with benefits ranging from weight loss, managing sleep disorders, enhancing energy levels, uplifting mood and stress management. The session winded with pranayama to guide students into the right breathing techniques and relaxation. The penultimate day was marked for teachers and on 21st June i.e. International Yoga Day the staff and student body took part in an online quiz.
