Steeped in tradition and significance, the Investiture Ceremony, for the session 2024-25, was held on 5^th April in the Auditorium, marking the formal transition of authority and responsibility to the selected students who would serve as pillars of leadership within the school. The event embarked on with the vice-prefectorial body laying down their preceding badges. Excitement and anticipation filled the air as the Class Representatives marched smartly on the stage with a sense of pride and honour to receive the badges from the Class Teachers and the Coordinators. The Sports captains were bestowed with their badges, symbolising the trust and confidence placed in them to lead their teams with integrity and passion. The student council was conferred upon with sashes and badges, by the Principal, Ms Naina Dhillon, and the Teacher in charge following which, they solemnly pledged to perform their duties with honesty, fairness, and diligence. The pledge served as a poignant reminder of the responsibilities entrusted to them and the expectations of the school community. The ceremony set the stage for a year filled with leadership, collaboration, and success, as VDJS continue to strive for excellence in all endeavours.
