On 29th May, Lavanya Chowdhury of Class VIIA and Saanvi Mishra of VIA along with the teacher in-charge Ms. Seema Rani Mishra participated in the Round Square Virtual Collaborative Service Project hosted by Genesis Global School, Noida. The theme centred around sharing ideas for service without penny. Students from 10 participating schools shared the community service activities, either undertaken by them or those that were in the pipeline. Making use of PPTs and videos the students gave an informative talk on the different ways of serving needy people, without incurring any expenses. Lavanya and Saanvi presented a PPT on social service activities which they had undertaken during the lockdown viz donating clothes, school bags, books, toys and fruits, online teaching to the underprivilged and creating awareness regarding the safety norms to be followed during the pandemic. The collaboration was a wonderful way to understand the amazing work that youngsters from different schools and regions are doing for society.
