On 14th July the staff attended a webinar by Panchtantra Planet on International Lifeskills Practices by Smt Swaroop Rawal, International Lifeskills Educator. The resource person is a member of the Art Education and Teacher Education Team of NCERT. She emphasized on the importance of integrating lifeskills into class and bringing a shift from theoretical knowledge to actual application in real life scenarios. The transformational potential of an effective lifeskill class in the emotional and cognitive development of the students was reiterated. A frequency of one lesson per week peppered with fun and activities and culminating in a reflection exercise was suggested to the teachers.
