Educational Visit to the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi

On 4th November 2025, eleven students of the Painting subject, accompanied by two teachers, visited the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), New Delhi, for an enriching educational trip. The visit offered a deep insight into India’s artistic heritage, beginning with the fascinating Kalighat paintings that sparked curiosity and admiration among the students.

Mr. Abhimanyu Soni guided the students through various art forms, connecting classroom learning with real-life exhibits. They explored Tanjore, miniature, and modern paintings, along with wood sculptures, bronze carvings, and calligraphy. Iconic works by Raja Ravi Varma, Amrita Sher-Gil, and M.F. Husain left a lasting impression, making the visit truly inspiring and memorable.
