VDJS celebrated the journey of the alumnae at their Alma mater and the reunion of the old students and former teachers, the 31st Annual Alumnae Meet, on 23rd November, 2024 wherein 48 guests graced the event with their presence. The event served as a beacon of united memories and moments with the theme ‘United by 40 years of Legacy’. It marked the initiation of the Alumnae Association, ‘VANs’, VDJS Alumnae Network, launched to foster connections and cultivate learning. The founding directors- Ms. Khushali Jaiswal, Ms Amulya Jain, Ms Raagini Bacchawat, Ms Shalini Agarwal and Ms Renika Garg came together to structure the programme successfully.

The Meet commenced with a welcome -note at the registration venue at the School Cafeteria from 2:00 p.m. onwards followed by the tradition of lightening the lamp and a warm welcome address by the Principal, Ms Naina Dhillon, wherein she exhorted that having a strong alumnae network with the school would help to create opportunities, fostering a spirit of collaboration, and continuing the legacy of excellence.

The ambiance reverberated with divine energy and fervour with an empowering Bharatnatyam performance, a Western musical, and a Sufi Kalam display. The panel talk conducted by the Alumnae Association brought the spotlight on memorable stories of women in leadership and entrepreneurship actively moderated by Ms.Khushali Jaiswal. Later in the evening a friendly Past vs Present Throw-ball match between the guests and the students charged up the spirits. The alumnae retraced their old footsteps as they revisited their favourite spots during the lively school tour. At the Principal’s Dinner, the gathering dined together over music, stories, laughter, and warmth and raised a toast to the legacy of VDJS and enriched everlasting bonds. The evening rounded off leaving everyone with cherished memories that lingered well beyond the campus’ walls.
