Batch Party for the Class XII (2021-22) was organised by the staff in the School auditorium on 20th May to bid farewell to the outgoing batch. It was a sparkling evening with the young and promising aerials hovering around in their best attires.
The special batch which withstood the onslaught of lockdowns was felicitated for their steadfast courage in a unique way- girls were presented with mementos and handcrafted cards by the teachers. As the evening unrolled, the audience was stupefied by an array of smashing performances by the teachers, be it, the dance performances by Ms Jayati, Ms Tanu, Mr Abhimanyu, and the group dance or the songs by Mr Siddharth Majumdar and Mr Abhijit and Ms Shriya Bhalla. The celebration had its showstopper also, a song by Mr Vijay Dhyani, but in a woman’s voice. The spectators jumped out of their seats, the moment he appeared from behind the curtains.
Ma’am Principal, Ms Shalini Mehrotra, wished the twelfths for a blessed, bright, and successful future and also congratulated the staff team for executing such a grand and talent-packed show for the evening. In her vote of thanks, Kritika Dhameja, VDJS Head Girl 2021-22, applauded the efforts of the teachers down the years, in shaping the girls into human beings of steal and substance. Girls enjoyed the event with their favourite snacks and a regal spread for dinner. The party wrapped up with what is the essential fundamental of celebrations for Jindalites, the Jam Session.
