An Inter-House Just-a-Minute (JAM) activity was conducted on Saturday, 26th April 2025. A total of 8 students represented their respective houses. The participants were selected from classes V and VI, with one student chosen from each class by the respective House Mistresses. The activity aimed to encourage students’ creative thinking, spontaneity, and confidence in public speaking. Students were given basic topics and were expected to speak on them for a minute without hesitation, repetition, or deviation.

It was indeed an excellent platform for students to showcase their speaking skills and quick thinking. While some participants came well prepared and spoke confidently, a few faced challenges such as nervousness on the microphone, which affected their performance. Nevertheless, the event served as a valuable learning experience for all involved. Overall, the JAM activity was a successful and enjoyable event that highlighted the importance of communication skills and stage confidence in young learners.
