On the 15th of May at 12 pm, the auditorium of Vidya Devi Jindal School was filled with warmth and emotions as the staff club organized a farewell for two of our cherished colleagues, Ms. Suman Sharma and Mr. Kishore Kumar Jha. The event was beautifully hosted by Mr. Vijay Sobhani, whose humour and grace made the occasion truly memorable.

The program began with Mr. Abhjeet sharing his heartfelt memories of working under his former HOD. His words truly reflected the respect and admiration he holds for Mr. Jha. Following him, Mr. Vinayak, Mr. Shamim, Ms. Suman Arora, Mr. Aashutosh, Mr. Dinesh, Mr. Raza, and Ms. Seema Dhillon took turns sharing their thoughts and experiences. Each speaker fondly remembered their time with the retiring teachers, highlighting their dedication, mentorship, and positive impact on both colleagues and students. Adding a special touch to the event, Mr. Koushik Bose sang a beautiful, heartfelt song that left everyone emotional. He also spoke warmly about the good times shared, making the atmosphere even more touching. With a grateful heart, Ms. Suman Sharma and Mr. Kishore Kumar Jha thanked everyone for their love and support. The farewell ended on a warm note, wishing them new adventures, wonderful friendships, and exciting experiences ahead. The event concluded with Administrator Sir and Principal Ma’am offering their best wishes to Ms. Sharma and Mr. Jha as they embark on a new chapter in life. A token of love was presented on behalf of the school, as a gesture to honour their invaluable contribution, The gathering concluded with lunch, leaving behind beautiful memories and a sense of gratitude for the years spent together.
