Every year, Vidya Devi Jindal School organises a dazzling evening for all the freshers to unleash and showcase the talent they are gifted with. On 10th August, Freshers’ Nite, which is celebrated as nothing less than a festival, commenced with the beautiful and spiritual invocation of the supreme, Ganesh Vandana. What followed was a soiree of fusion of energy, charm, and fresh ideas. The power-packed folk, and Bollywood dance performances, the rendition of the melodious and soulful songs by new singers, the hilarious skit, Rabya’s poetry, and Meera ma’am’s folk dance made the whole auditorium clap and hoot till their hands turned red and voice became shrill. The paint brushes of those live painters added a few more vibrant colours to the show, and later, they were called upon the stage and appreciated for displaying the artworks they were working on, throughout the event. In her address, Ma’am Principal welcomed and congratulated the new talents and the executive team, for putting up such a ravishing show, and exclaimed that every performance was a show stopper. The beautiful evening came to an end with laughter, smiles and joy revolving around campus and with the wish-fulfilling of the perennial desire and demand of the Jindalites… the Jam Session.
