From July 8-10 a German workshop was attended by Mr Rupesh Kumar at Max Mueller Bhawan, Delhi. It was organised by the Germany and Switzerland Embassies on the theme, ‘Migration and Diversity in Europe’ and how it is relevant in Foreign Language Teaching. The German Embassy briefed the attendees about the importance of German as a Foreign Language in STEM teaching for better career chances in Germany. It further expounded the educational initiatives of Germany and informed the attendees about the free and low-cost educational courses for foreign students, facility for FIT A1 & A2 examination, and regular Teacher Training Programmes.
