The Investiture Ceremony for the session 21-22 was held on 13th November. The solemn ceremony is an occasion wherein the chosen student leaders take the oath of office thereby committing themselves to upholding and safeguarding the VDJS values. Among other things they vow to prioritize an honest discharge of their duties over cheap popularity.
The class representatives received the Badges from the academic coordinators. The oath of office was administered to the Neutral Prefects by Principal Ms Shalini Mehrotra. The House Prefects took the oath of office and administered it to their Housemates. The ceremony was followed by a photography session. The Prefects also received a chocolate from the Principal. A Board display gave us a sneak peek into the personalities of the Head Prefects.
We are sanguine that the chosen student leaders will prove worthy of the confidence reposed in them.
