VDJS celebrated Janamashtmi on 19th August in the track field to mark the birthday of the ‘World Guru’, Lord Krishna, who gave the universes, the Science of Life, the ‘Bhagavat Gita’. Adorned in traditional attires, Jindalites performed puja in the evening which was followed by soulful ‘Bhajan Sandhya’. The festival ended with the much-awaited ‘Dahi-Haandi’ act and the distribution of prasad.
