The 29th annual Jindal Art Festival- All India Inter-Schools Cultural Festival of Art, Music, Dance, IT and Literary Skills, was hosted by Vidya Devi Jindal School on 7th August,2022, to commemorate the birth anniversary of the founding father, Late Shri OP Jindal, the man of steal grit with a vision where others saw walls, he saw doors. Twelve schools from different parts of India took part in the festival and the theme was ‘Abhyuday- appreciation of transition and transformation’.
The renowned actor, Mr Darsheel Safari graced the occasion as the chief guest. The ceremonial guard of honour and kindling of lamp was followed by a mesmerising dance performance about Krishna’s love for his devotees and an English Western duet song. A vivid and vibrant digital presentation encapsulating the masterpieces and performances of the winner participants was displayed that left the audience spellbound. Results of the six creative events were announced and the winners were felicitated. The host school, Vidya Devi Jindal School was declared the overall winner and Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior, was declared the Runner Up at the festival. In his address, Mr Darsheel Safari emphasised the value of moments spent with the teachers beyond the academic walls. The celebration came to a close with a thought-provoking English play, “Two Adorable Losers” by Out of the Box Production featuring Darsheel Safary and Abhishek Patnaik.
