A session on ‘legal literacy’ for the support staff was conducted in the school on 13^th April by the faculty of Legal Studies, Mr KK Jha and Mr Raza Qasim, to make them aware of the legal regulations which govern their everyday life. The resource people emphasised how ignorance of the law may land a person in a hornet’s nest and also informed them about the basic rights and duties of a citizen marked out in the constitution of India. Laws like, Indian Motor Vehicle Act, Consumer Protection Act,  Domestic Violence Act, Labour Laws and Social Security and Safety were deliberated at length. The support staff participated in the session with great fervour and found it helpful and edifying.
