Mental Health Week was observed in school from 5th October to 10th October. In the course of the week the students attended assemblies which helped them understand some stress management techniques like Impression Art, dance, practice of gratitude and the importance of forming deep emotional associations. The girls shared images and videos of the ways in which they keep themselves positive and motivated. On 10th October which is celebrated as ‘World Mental Health Day’ the students witnessed a short movie prepared by the Psychology students, which spoke about a family’s struggle with the loss of a dear one and how it finally emerged out of the crisis through resilience and professional help. The observance of the week encouraged healthy discussion around the very important issue of safeguarding one’s mental Health.
