On 11th May a session on Conflict Resolution was conducted by Ms Divya( Child Psychologist) from My Peegu. The resource person spoke about the various stages of conflict, the causes, signs and the ways to resolve it. The nuances of tone and the role played by information processing were stressed as the lead triggers for conflict escalation. She emphasised the importance of seeking help, if needed, for resolution. Other important factors discussed were the difference between internal and external conflict and the aftermath of a conflict in the form of physiological and psychological impact. The session helped all to arrive at a better toolkit to handle situations of conflict amicably. The teachers are now expected to mentor the girls to deal with conflict situations with grace and maturity.
