The School celebrated the 75th Independence Day with great joy and patriotic fervour. The function began with the hoisting of the flag and everyone joined in the singing of the national anthem. This was followed by a melodious rendition of a patriotic song and a mesmerising dance performance. Principal Ms Mehrotra, in her speech urged everyone to reflect on the true meaning of patriotism. Reminding everyone of the blessing of being born in independent India she emphasised on the need to safeguard and value this privilege through righteous conduct. Thereafter she released tricoloured balloons and signalled the commencement of the creative hour. Staff and students participated in kitemaking, bracelet making, handprint and thumbprint art and clay modeling. The literarily gifted ones composed poems and slogans. Everyone enjoyed the day engaging in the activity of their choice.
