ANNUAL PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY

The school held its Annual Prize-Giving Ceremony to honour the academic achievers of the session 2021-22 on 12th May 2022. Dr Dilip Kumar Pandey, Former Principal N C Jindal School, New Delhi and Group Advisor to Kamal Vandana Gurugram, Trinity group of educational institutions graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the Day.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by a melodious welcome song by the school choir. The audience was enthralled by a colourful, energetic rhythmic performance of Garba celebrating the feminine form of divinity.

Meritorious students were facilitated with different categories of awards by the Chief Guest Dr Dilip Kumar Pandey, the Principal Ms Shalini Mehrotra and the Administrator Mr Nikil Rudra. The achievers were conferred with   Signing of School Honour’s Book, Improvement Award, Subject Toppers Award, Annual Round Square Award, The Raving Readers’ Award, The Icon of the Class Award, Award for Good Conduct, Class Toppers Award, The Achievement Awards (85% and above for two years to five consecutive years), International Award for Young People Award (Bronze, Silver Medals) and Proficiency Award. 

Approximately eight scores of students were felicitated in the ceremony. The teachers and the student body encouraged the winners with thunderous applause as they walked up to the stage to collect prizes for their respective areas of excellence.

As the Ceremony drew to a close, the Chief Guest was invited to express his views on the occasion. Dr Dilip Kumar Pandey commenced his address with a couplet from Upanishads and explained its divine meaning and importance to the assemblage. Further, he added that learning can only take place in a peaceful mind. We all are unique and should celebrate the uniqueness. He concluded his address with a thought provoking message that ‘Award’ is a reawakening call to keep our morals in check. 

He congratulated the high academic achievers and highlighted the devoted work done by the teachers in excellent academic standards in the school. He advised the faculty to devote five minutes of their lessons in sharing the beauty and achievement of our nation to empower the future of the nation.

The grand spectacle came to a close with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Mannat Ranjit, the Officiating Head Girl followed by the School Song.
