DINING HALL

FSSAI compliant air-conditioned double storey Dining Hall with a sitting capacity of 900 serves the varied palate of our girls and staff catering five meals a day of well balanced and nourishing vegetarian diet which includes Indian, continental, and Chinese cuisines. Extra sports diet is provided for the students during the special training sessions supplementing their additional nutritional requirements.

Professionally qualified Mess Managers run the operations along with trained chefs who prepare nutritious food in hygienic kitchen. With an in-house bakery a variety of breads provide a wholesome snack. A comprehensive and balanced weekly menu is designed in consultation with dietician.

Mess committee comprises of Student Representatives, Mess Prefects, Teacher Representatives and Mess Manager. A Mess Committee Meeting is held quarterly.

HACCP -Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points

HACCP is a food hygiene risk assessment tool that is used to ensure that food products are safe to eat. It looks to introduce checks and standards to food manufacturing or preparation processes that reduce risks as far as possible, reducing chemical, physical and biological risks to people.

From April 2025, VDJS is an HACCP certified school, which is the second school in the country after Doon school.
