In continuation with the effort of being an environment-friendly school, the first session of VDJS’Go Green Programme in collaboration with Edible Routes was initiated by Ms Tanisha and Ms Divya at the school for Classes VII-VIII from 18th-19th August. After an introductory session on the concept and the need for organic farming, students were taken to the farming site and were explained about the ecosystem, soil, bed formation and drip irrigation system. With the help of hands-on activities like thread and paper slips, they were sensitised about the different parts of an ecosystem.
